Welcome Lovlies!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the beginning of my independent film review blog. As an aspiring film maker and lifetime lover of film, it is my goal to present to you reviews on films as I watch them for the first time so I can give an honest first impression. Reviews will be spoiler free because, seriously, no one likes a spoilsport and that isn't the point of reviews.

To clarify what my review process will entail, each film I select to review on this blog I choose will be based on overall popularity, either as a blockbuster or cult film classic, or on personal recommendations from peers. Reviews will cover overall story (again without yucky spoilers, ew) characters, execution, and an overall impression on the film as a whole. Based on that, a recommendation will follow on seeing the film. Whether or not you follow it is entirely up to you!

I will also be posting discussion pieces on some of my favorite films on a monthly basis, each month pertaining to a certain theme. Some themes will be constant, i.e. October will always be Halloween month so expect all the horror you can stomach. Other themes may relate to which sort of films are coming out that month, director/producers/actors, where the current Hollywood is going, etc. This blog is here to inform, entertain, and educate!
